Glass Menagerie

This play is a memory play looking back into the past about choices Tom made when he was younger. The memory isn’t clear, but he cannot seem to escape from it. Our society proclaims individualism, to do what is best for oneself. Yet our choices affect our friends and family as well as ourselves. Tom believes that escaping from his family will make him free, but he becomes captive in his mind.
