One Act Play That Goes Wrong

We choose the One Act Play That Goes Wrong, because we wanted a lighthearted comedy to explore change that happens because of errors and mistakes. At the beginning of the rehearsal process we told each other funny stories about ourselves. I saw the cast draw closer together as we laughed at the past. We made lots of mistakes in the process of rehearsing the show. We laughed together and moved forward together. We did not allow what went wrong to crush our spirits. I also hope you will think about your past, present, and future errors and mistakes, and the errors and mistakes of others. What was and could be your response? In the theatre world, we say “the show must go on.” How can we stay engaged in the moment and allow what has happened to heighten our involvement? May you find joy to lift you and those around you.
