Radium Girls

This show is based on a little-known true story about people speaking truth to those in power. The women took the case to court and were able to win the case. The artists involved in the production hosted a discussion after the performance to talk to the audience about the artistic choices and what the audience perceived. Included in this discussion, the artists asked the audience the following questions to further the dialogue: What major themes did you see within the show? What did you know about the 1920s and U.S. manufacturing workers prior to seeing this show? Had you heard about the Radium Girls? What non-verbals did you see communicated in this show? How does what you are studying in class pertain to this production?
